Research Status

1. Hi-tech Research and Development Program of China (National 863 Project), “UWB WBAN Application Demonstration System ”, Jan. 2009-Dec. 2010, Principle Investigator

       The objective of the project is to build a demonstration system for Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) based on the Single Carrier Ultra Wide Band (SC-UWB) technology, and the deliverables include a real WBAN network and 1special service demonstration.

2. Hi-tech Research and Development Program of China (National 863 Project), “UWB SoC Design and Network Test” Jan. 2007-Dec. 2009, Principle Investigator.

       The objective of the project is to research the key algorithms of SC-UWB technology and develop the SoC, and the deliverables include a series SC-UWB chips and network.

3. Hi-tech Research and Development Program of China (National 863 Project), “10Gbit/s MAN key ASICs Design” Jan. 2003-Dec. 2007, Principle Investigator.

       The objective of the project is to develop the key ASICs of 10Gbit/s Metropolitan Area Network (MAN), including physical layer ASIC and MAC layer ASIC.
