On October 14, 2025, a delegation from Chulalongkorn University including Witaya Wannasuphoprasit, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Chaodit Aswakul, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, Sawekchai Tangaramvong and Natt Leelawat, Associate Deans of the Faculty of Engineering, visited the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University. The delegation was welcomed by Professor Shen Yuan, Council Director of the Department of Electronic Engineering, and Associate Professor Zhang Milin, Assistant to the Chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering. The visit was held in the Electronic Engineering Building of Tsinghua University.

In his speech, Shen Yuan extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Chulalongkorn University for their visit. Shen Yuan noted that over the past decade, the Department of Electronic Engineering has achieved remarkable progress in curriculum optimization, research platform development, and talent cultivation. In terms of internationalization, the department has strengthened global collaboration through initiatives such as student exchange programs and joint talent training. He expressed his hope to establish a deeper exchange platform with Chulalongkorn University to jointly advance the development of electronic engineering disciplines.
Witaya Wannasuphoprasit then introduced Chulalongkorn University, elaborating on its educational philosophy, research system development, and ambitious vision for the future. He showcased the university's strengths and potential in technological innovation and talent development.
Meeting in progress
The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on talent cultivation programs, including International Master Degree, Undergrad-Master Integrated Training, and Master-Ph.D. Integrated Training, and exchanged forward-looking prospects on collaboration opportunities in research and education.
