On March 28, 2026, the Electronic Information Professional Committee of Tsinghua Shanghai Alumni Association celebrated its second anniversary. With the active participation and warm support of alumni from the Yangtze River Delta and across the country, this highland of innovation and fertile ground in China's electronic information field is embracing the new wave of technology in the era of artificial intelligence, writing the contemporary answer of Tsinghua people. On March 30, 2024, the Committee was formally inaugurated at the West Bund Dome Art Center in Shanghai. On the same day, the first Honorary Director, Director, Deputy Directors, and Secretariat members were elected. On March 23, 2025, the Committee celebrated its first anniversary. The symposium "Frontiers of Electronic Information in the AI Era & 25th Alumni Forum" was successfully held in Yangpu District, Shanghai. More than 30 alumni guests delivered speeches and presentations, and over 400 alumni participated on-site. Meanwhile, the second working meeting of the first Electronic Information Professional Committee was convened, with two new members added to the Secretariat. The Committee has always adhered to its mission: "to connect alumni in the electronic information field in the Yangtze River Delta, build a platform for exchange and cooperation, carry forward the Tsinghua spirit, and encourage alumni to support and give back to Tsinghua." Relying on the alumni of the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University, the Committee serves the national development strategy of building a technological powerhouse, builds a comprehensive alumni ecosystem, enriches the input of disciplinary resources for the university, facilitates the complementarity of advantageous resources, promotes innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and venture capital, and demonstrates the spirit and humanistic care of Tsinghua people.

In the second year since its establishment, the Committee organized more than 10 events, including: 1 alumni forum, 2 industry afternoon teas, 5 corporate visits, 2 "Foreseeing the Future" roadshows, and 1 "Senior Speaks" session, with a total of nearly 1,000 alumni and department alumni participating on-site. As a part of the Tsinghua Shanghai Alumni Association, the Committee also assisted the Shanghai Alumni Association in organizing several events, including the Chuangqinghui roadshow. During this process, the Committee received support from many alumni enterprises, including Empyrean, Unisoc, GigaDevice, Agibot, VUILabs, Infinigence AI, Pinlan Technology. etc, and many other alumni enterprises, as well as active participation from many distinguished alumni, including Datong Chen, Lifeng Wu, Wenqiang Li, Pengfei Zhang, Yu Deng, Renrong Yu, Wenjun Zeng, Dajun He, Zining Wu, Bing Xiao, Xiaodong Yang, Weiliang Chen, Maoqing Yao, Lixue Xia, and Yifan Li. etc. The Committee sincerely thanks all alumni enterprises and distinguished alumni for their strong support, and also thanks all leaders and teachers at the alma mater for their careful guidance. It believes that in the new technological wave of the "Physical AI" era, the Tsinghua spirit will continue to be passed down from generation to generation.
Summary of the second anniversary work of the Electronic Information Professional Committee of Tsinghua Shanghai Alumni Association
As part of the second anniversary series of events, the symposium "Physical AI Frontier Exploration and Industrial Innovation & 28th Alumni Forum" included one main forum and two sub-forums. In addition, the Committee organized two "Tsinghua EE Corporate Visit" events: "Visit to Biren Tech" and "Visit to Iluvatar CoreX." On the day of the alumni forum, the third working meeting of the first Electronic Information Professional Committee was held, with one new member added to the Secretariat. As of March 28, 2025, the WeChat group of Tsinghua EE alumni in the Yangtze River Delta had 955 members. The Committee plans to continue in the coming year to build a more complete alumni ecosystem in the electronic information field by expanding the scale of membership, broadening regional coverage, and deepening industry collaboration, so as to achieve platform resource sharing and serve the national electronic information development strategy. The goal is to cover more than 30 Yangtze River Delta cities, more than 50 electronic information-related industries, and more than 1,500 electronic information alumni.
