On the afternoon of August 23, the "Meeting of Relatives and Friends of New Students" of Electronic Information was held at the third floor of the Rohm Building. The leaders in charge of teaching and student work and head teachers of Department of Electronic Engineering, Department of Automotive Engineering, Department of Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics and Department of Biomedical Engineering, as well as over 200 relatives and friends of new students attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Ms. Li Dongmei, Director of the Teaching Office of the Department of Electronic Engineering, firstly expressed her congratulations and welcome to the new students, and introduced head teachers, counselors and teachers that are in charge of the work of new students of each class to the parents. Then she introduced the basic information of the "electronic information" and the characteristics of student training in each stage. Later, starting from the learning problems that parents are most concerned about, she introduced relevant rules and regulations, training plan, and teaching plan, and so on, to enable the parents to have a preliminary understanding of the learning of their children in the next four years. Finally, Ms. Li Dongmei started from some classic student cases to give some pertinent recommendations to parents.

After the meeting, many parents of the new students exchanged with Ms. Li and head teachers on issues that they concern and the scene was very enthusiastic.
