    Wang Yu from the Department of Electronic Engineering Won the Title of "Under-40 Innovators Award" of the DAC (ACM/IEEE Design Automation Conference 2018)

    On June 24, 2018, the local time in the United States, the 55th ACM/IEEE Design Automation Conference (ACM/IEEE Design Automation Conference 2018) announced the 2018 5 Under-40 Innovators Award List, namely, the list of the global 5 under-40 innovators award at Moscone Center, San Francisco, and Associate Professor Wang Yu from our department was in the list.

    The purpose for DAC to set up the Under-40 Innovators Award list is to commend young innovators that have influence and leadership in the electronic design and automation field, and it is hoped to commend their special contributions to the electronic design and automation field through the selection of the most excellent talents in the global electronics industry. This year's Under 40 Innovators Award selected five top representatives globally that have made important contributions to the data center applications and high-efficiency and low-energy architecture platform design, and so on. In addition to Associate Professor Wang Yu from our department, other award winners were David Atienza from EPFL, ShengLi from Google, Arijit Raychowdhury from Georgia Institute of Technology and Zhiru Zhang from Cornell University respectively.
