Last night, Chinese Journal of Lasers held the "2017 China Optics Top Ten Progress" press conference in Pudong, Shanghai. 20 achievements from institutions such as Zhejiang University, Tsinghua University, and Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences won this honor (10 items in basic research category and applied research category respectively).
Firstly, Zhou Changhe, Deputy Director of the Selection Committee and Researcher of Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, announced the list of the selected papers of 2017 China Optics Top Ten Progress on behalf of the Selection Committee. Subsequently, Academician Fan Dianyuan, Director of the Selection Committee, and Academician Li Ruxin, Director of Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, et al. presented the trophies and certificates to representatives of the award-winners. Professor Huang Yidong from Tsinghua University made a speech as the representative of the award-winners.
