Jing Jin Innovation Incubator of Electronic Engineering
The Jing Jin Innovation Incubator of Electronic Engineering (also known as “JIE Center) is a specialized incubator born under the trilateral cooperation among Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Area (SXDA), Tsinghua University’s Department of Electronic Engineering (THUEE) and Tsinghua Technology & Innovation Holdings (THTI).
Core Functions: JIE Center leverages the research and technology outputs of THUEE and adopts the “enclave” innovative model to cultivate the high-tech projects eagerly needed for Shanxi’s industrial development. Supplemented with a well-managed technology transfer ecosystem, JIE Center facilitates efficient incubation and promotes high-level technology commercialization. Meanwhile, the outputs from JIE Center could potentially empower the traditional industries in Shanxi and accelerate the industrialization and economic transformation of Shanxi. Overall, JIE Center strives to explore a new model of university-government-enterprise cooperation. While exploring the market opportunities for THUEE’s scientific outputs, JIE Center also assists Shanxi with high-quality transformation and development.

Hai He Qin Wei ChuangXin (T.H.I.P) Centre (Binhai High-tech Zone)
The Hai He Qin Wei ChuangXin (T.H.I.P) Centre is jointly established by Tsinghua University Tianjin Electronic Information Research Institute, Tianjin Binhai High-tech Industrial Development Area, Tianjin Haihe Industry Fund Management Co., Ltd., Shanghai Weier Semiconductor Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Weihao Chuangxin Investment Management Co., Ltd.
The Centre aims to leverage the technological and talent advantages of Tsinghua University's Department of Electronic Engineering (EE) and its research institute, the industry aggregation and guidance advantages of Weier Semiconductor, as well as the capital operation advantages of Weihao Chuangxin and Haihe Fund. Through an innovative "Fund + Flying Land" model, it cultivates "high-end, precision, and cutting-edge" projects urgently needed for the development of Tianjin Binhai High-tech Zone, incubates and supports high-quality pan-semiconductor industry enterprises required for Weier Semiconductor's industrial layout. While matching Tsinghua's achievements with market application scenarios, it also aims to create a cooperative and win-win innovation model integrating "government, industry, academia, research, and finance."
International Hydrogen Energy Center
The International Hydrogen Energy Center (IHEC) was jointly launched by Beijing Tsinghua Industrial R&D Institute (BTIRDI) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), with the support of the Beijing Municipal People’s Government and China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges (CICETE). The IHEC is a technology innovation center with global influence in the field of hydrogen energy. It is a non-profit organization which relies on Beijing Tsinghua Industrial R&D Institute and is operated by Beijing Yitong Hydrogen Energy and Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology Innovation Research Institute. It was awarded the
International Hydrogen Energy Centre in the way of project cooperation by the UNIDO.

The Palace Museum, a historical treasure trove carrying 5000 years of Chinese civilization, not only converges China’s excellent traditional culture but also is witness to the exchange and fusion of diverse cultures. It integrates art, architecture,history, and palace culture, showcasing unparalleled cultural significance. As the digital age progresses, the Palace Museum is embracing digital transformation. This shift aims to utilize digital tools to aid in the preservation and restoration of cultural artifacts, advance the intelligence of museum facilities, and digitize exhibitions. This allows China’s rich traditional culture to thrive in the light of technological advancements.
Since 1999, the Palace Museum has set up an initiative in creating a digital version of the museum. In 2019, the museum partnered with Tencent to establish a joint laboratory, upgrading the museum’s existing image acquisition studio. This state-of-the-art laboratory specializes in the comprehensive collection, processing, and showcase of 3D cultural artifact data, alongside intelligent management of the entire process. With close to a thousand ancient palace buildings and almost 2 million invaluable cultural artifacts, the digitization task at hand is both extensive and challenging. To date, the museum has achieved the digitization of over 900,000 artifacts and made high- definition images of more than 100,000 pieces accessible to the public. The digital Palace Museum encompasses various functions, including protection, display, research, and education, and is emerging as a novel way for millions worldwide to explore the museum. Within the laboratory, guides utilize digital tools to offer visitors a comprehensive and multi-faceted introduction to the artifacts, significantly enriching their experience.
For students in the electronic information technology field, such visit aids in understanding the digital needs and how to most efficiently utilize technology.
