On July 19, the ceremony for members of the founding team of DeePhi to donate to Tsinghua University was held at the Tsinghua Garden (Gong Zi Ting). Wang Yu, Shan Yi, and Yao Song, Co-founder of DeePhi and Alumni of Grades 1998, 2004 and 2011 of the Department of Electronic Engineering, and Yang Bin, Vice President of Tsinghua University and President of Tsinghua University Education Foundation, Wang Xiqin, Vice President, Li Jiaqiang, Deputy Secretary General of the university and Secretary General of Tsinghua University Education Foundation, Huang Yidong, Chair of the Department of Electronic Engineering, Jin Depeng, Party Committee Secretary, and Yang Huazhong, Professor of the Department of Electronic Engineering, et al. attended the ceremony presided over by Li Jiaqiang.
The three founders of DeePhi donated to their alma mater Tsinghua University to set up the "Meng Zhaoying Chair Professor Foundation" to support the introduction and training of high-end talents, and set up the "Liu Runsheng Teaching and Learning Encouraging Foundation" of the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University to support the faculty team and the student training.

Meanwhile, the choice of the DeePhi team to use Mr. Meng Zhaoying and Mr. Liu Runsheng to name the two funds instead of using personal or company names is very moving. Yao Song reviewed the birth and entrepreneurship history of DeePhi. He said that members of the founding team of DeePhi all graduated from Tsinghua University and has deep feelings to their alma mater. The learning and research experience in Tsinghua not only enabled them to accumulate excellent technical ability, but also shaped the way that the team acts and does things. The university's spirit and motto of "Actions Speak Louder than Words" and "Self-discipline and Social Commitment" have also deeply integrated into the corporate culture and management.
Shan Yi spent ten years as an undergraduate and Ph.D. in Tsinghua University. This year is also the tenth anniversary of his graduation as an undergraduate. He said that the international vision and scientific research height of Tsinghua University have profoundly influenced the technical complementarity and business collaboration of DeePhi as an AI startup with global strategic partners. At the same time, the support and care of the leaders and alumni of Tsinghua University to DeePhi have paved a solid and warm road of entrepreneurship for the team, encouraging it to strive ahead. We do hope to carry forward and pass on this complex.
