    Tsinghua University and Johns Hopkins Signed a Cooperation Agreement on Dual Degree Master's Program

    On the afternoon of April 12, Huang Yidong, Chair of the Department of Electronic Engineering, and Wang Guangzhi, Chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, signed the cooperation agreement on the dual degree master's program with Michael Miller, Director of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University at the Multi-function Hall on the 11th floor of the Rohm Building. Vice President Yang Bin, Dean of the Graduate School Yao Qiang, Party Committee Secretary of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Deputy Chair of the Department of Electronic Engineering Wu Ji attended the signing ceremony.

    The Tsinghua-Johns Hopkins University Dual Degree Master's Program is a two-year training plan of masters. Students of the program will learn how to use engineering principles to solve important problems in the biomedical engineering field, and the program will train future leaders for biomedical research and achievement commercialization. With the strong support of Tsinghua University and Johns Hopkins University, various works for the program design and approval have been completed after more than half a year of hard work. After the successful completion of the signing of the contract, the program will start the recruitment work at Johns Hopkins University and Tsinghua University respectively in 2018.
