On the morning of October 19, the Party Committee of the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University and the Communist Youth League Graduate Committee of Tsinghua University organized 7 party branches of graduate students of the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University to hold the education activity themed by "remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind"-visit the education activity themed by "Great Journey and Brilliant Achievements - Large Achievement Exhibition on Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" at Beijing Exhibition Center.

The "Great Journey and Brilliant Achievements - Large Achievement Exhibition on Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" is a large achievement exhibition on celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the people's republic of China. Around the theme of "break and develop the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics and build a modern socialist country", it fully publicized and demonstrated the brilliant course, great achievements and valuable experience of the members of the CCP represented by Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, and Xi Jinping uniting and leading the whole party, the whole army and the people of all ethnic groups of the country to successfully break and develop the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics and build a modern socialist country over the past 70 years after founding of the People's Republic of China and the great practice of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core uniting and leading the whole party, the whole army and the people of all ethnic groups of the country to pursue coordinated progress in the five-sphere integrated plan and pursue balanced progress in the four-pronged comprehensive strategy especially since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
From 1949 to 2019, the Achievement Exhibition was exhibited in the form of annalistic style, recording 150 firsts of new China since the founding of the Republic. After stepping into the exhibition hall, people went through 70-year tunnel of time and space and comprehensively reviewed and perceived the extraordinary glorious journey of the Republic through photos and objects.
Over the past 70 years after founding of the People's Republic of China, we have remained true to our original aspiration, kept our mission firmly in mind, and forged ahead. The strenuous efforts have led the Chinese people to overcome one difficulty after another, create one miracle after another, and one history after another. We constantly refresh the history, create miracles of the motherland, and refresh the history of the world. The great journey has a magnificent upsurge and the brilliant achievements are inspiring.
The first act of the exhibition hall
Five parts, namely Lobby, Standing in the East, Reform and Opening Up, Moving towards Rejuvenation and Ever-changing China were exhibited by way of time tunnel. "Standing in the East" corresponds to the period from 1949 to 1978, "Reform and Opening Up" corresponds to the period from 1978 to 2012, and "Moving towards Rejuvenation" corresponds to the period from 2012 to 2019.
Students initiated a discussion while visiting
At the exhibition site, the students were thinking while watching, and deeply felt the brilliant achievements made by the Chinese people through rising in great vigor and hard work and plain living under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party since the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China. During the visit, Li Changkun from Wireless Graduate Class 193 said: "Seeing the great achievements made by generations of predecessors through self-improvement, Tsinghua people should also keep up with the great predecessors, stick to the original aspiration and mission, be brave in assuming responsibilities, and contribute to the society." Most of the students on a visit were doctoral candidates. When seeing the first doctoral degree certificate of the New China, Liu Yuanrui from Wireless Graduate 193 Party Branch said: "The country has provided us such good resources to study for a doctoral degree, hoping that we will try our best to contribute to the country's technical progress upon graduation in the future, keep in mind the original intention of our predecessors to make China a powerful nation of science and technology, and remember the mission of the great rejuvenation of the new China. "

Picture display boards, physical models, video data and interactive experiences attracted the attention of students. They stopped to watch them from time to time, seriously think about and discuss, and ask for relevant circumstances.

After the visit, Xin Gangtao, Secretary of Wireless Graduate 193 Party Branch, concluded: "The Achievement Exhibition on Celebrating the 70th Anniversary allows us to see the great achievements made on the road to the revival of the motherland. We also should remain true to our original aspiration, keep our mission firmly in mind and contribute our own strength to the future road to the revival of the motherland. History has endowed every generation with different missions. No matter who you are, we should roll up our sleeves to work harder and insist on our goals to work harder!"
Once upon a time, our motherland went through the vicissitudes of life and suffered enough. Looking back, we have great ambitions; Looking forward, we are filled with boundless pride. How could we not go crazy when the atomic bomb blasted off? How could we not cheer when we heard that Samaranch spoke out "BEIJING" softly? How could we not be proud when General Secretary Xi Jinping announced the beginning of the parade for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China? The popular destitution, chaos caused by war and "Sick Man of East Asia" in the past are past and gone Now this piece of land has long been turned upside down, hustle and bustle.
