On the afternoon of June 20, 2019, the Sub-labor Union of the Department of Electronic Engineering held a training seminar on "Hope of Life"-Primary CPR in the lecture hall on the third floor of the Rohm Building. At the seminar, Doctor Wang Jing from the Heart Center of the First Hospital of Tsinghua University was invited to explain the basic knowledge and rescue methods of CPR. Main contents of the seminar include: Methods on judging sudden cardiac death and primary CPR. Methods of primary CPR include: Judge the cardiac arrest, call the emergency system, start CPR as soon as possible, and use the defibrillator quickly. Doctor Wang also used the model of human body to instruct teachers in additional practice. Doctor Wang told everyone that early judging and using the correct CPR method can give others hope for living at the last minute. More than 30 faculty members and property staff from the Department of Electronic Engineering participated in the training.

After the lecture, Doctor Wang instructed everyone present to do a complete CPR drill and answered questions that teachers concerned.
